Working over a multi-year period with storied luxury house Gucci to bring a comprehensive cultural transformation strategy to life. Changemakers London includes key grassroots organisations who are using creativity to help alter the future of marginalised young adults in London. This multi-year initiative aims to promote true representation in the capital’s fashion and creative industries.
It includes a partnership with London College of Fashion to offer multidisciplinary scholarships to students who face financial barriers in accessing higher education.
Multidisciplinary artist Ronan McKenzie and Condé Nast UK Chief Business Officer Vanessa Kingori are contributing their knowledge and expertise as Changemaking friends of the house.
Graduating Class 2023 Gucci Changemakers
As part of our Gucci Changemakers London initiative, we invited multi-disciplinary artist Ronan McKenzie to run a series of workshops with young adults from Rise 365, Art Against Knives, The Advocacy Academy, and our Gucci Changemakers London scholars from London College of Fashion, UAL.
Together, the group co-created a series of artworks that went on display to the public at 180 The Strand. Showcasing the power of imagination when we’re radically inclusive.
This was part of Gucci’s continued multi-year commitment to opening up the creative industries in London, with more to follow throughout the next decade.
